1. Information

1.1 Purpose of this Notice
This page provides information about the data generated by your use of our connected products and related services, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the "EU DATA ACT"), which will come into effect on September 12, 2025. All defined terms in this Notice shall have the same meaning as those terms in the EU DATA ACT.

The contract period is the period during which the product is installed and operating normally at the user's site. The contract will end when the user discontinues use of the product, such as by disposing of the product.

3.Data type, Data format, estimated file size

When you use the applicable products, the following data may be generated and collected. In addition, the generated data may be used by the data holder for product support, quality improvement, and product and service functionality provision.

3.1 Inkjet Printer

- Data is generated continuously and in real time after the applicable product is operated or various settings are made.
- The estimated amount of data is based on normal use and may vary depending on usage conditions.

4.Accessing, Retrieving, Deleting, or Sharing Data with Third Parties

You may request us to access, retrieve, delete, or provide the generated data directly to a designated third party (such as a service provider).

5.Data storage and expected storage period

The generated data is temporarily stored locally on the printer itself, and may also be transferred and stored on the RISO Remote Agent server for service provision.

5.1 Data stored in the printer storage
The data will be saved the storage up to the specified amount.

5.2 Data stored on the RISO Remote Agent (RRA) server
The information will be retained for the period necessary to provide product or service functionality, improve quality, and provide support (maximum two years), or for the period required by law. It also contains the data holder's trade secrets.
